The Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN) aims to promote improved compliance with environmental legal requirements in Asia. AECEN accomplishes this task through the exchange of innovative policies and practices among member enforcement agencies. There are currenlty 18 Member agencies which includes the ASEAN member states.

Mekong River Commision Data Portal

The Mekong River Commission (MRC) is a inter-governmental organisation that works directly with the governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam to jointly manage the shared water resources and the sustainable development of the Mekong River. This portal includs real-time hydrology & river monitoring data, drought monitoring and water quality information.


Asian Development Bank Statistical Database System (SDBS)

SDBS has annual data on member countries' data on selected economic indicators as well as quarterly and monthly data of some indicators are also available. SDBS is updated continuously and new series are added based on emerging demands. MDG Tables are available to download in CSV format.

AQUASTAT is the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations global water information system, developed by the Land and Water Division. It is the most quoted source on global water statistics and provides maps,spatial data and tools.

A knowledge-base from the Asian Development Bank as a collection of regional cooperation and integration data which aids in monitoring and reporting of potential vulnerabilities, and also in providing insights on policy solutions for the Asia and the Pacific region.


ASEAN Cooperation on Environment

ASEAN.orgs online hub for news, resources and publications relating to the environment, biodiversity, publications and education.

The institutional framework of the ASEAN cooperation on environment consists of the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment (AMME), ASEAN Senior Officials on the Environment (ASOEN), and 7 subsidiary bodies/working groups.

AMME meets once every two years, while ASOEN and its subsidiary bodies meet once every year to oversee the implementation of ASEAN Strategic Plan on Environment (ASPEN) and the ASCC Blueprint 2025.
